Have this connected to my Ps3 via an optical cable sounds awsome, great picture upscaling, I play all my old dvd's on this and use my Ps3 for Blu Ray, you cant go wrong with this for the price.

This is the first time I have ever owned a Home Cinema System. I am not technically minded and, once the speakers were built, the set up was done in about 20 seconds! I bought Panasonic to complement my HD Plasma TV (also from Panasonic) and I have not been disappointed! The sound is fantastic and it really does sound like you are in a cinema. I have my Sky HD box connected and you really do notice a different on movies, sports and music channels. Would happily recommend this product to others (sorry to all the neighbours out there!!)

For the price you can't get much better than this. I was considering one for my PS3, up until I found out that the only thing that supports uncompressed sound material is the dolby digital True HD codec and the DTS-HD codec. These codecs only come with much more expensive prices, cheapest I found was 400 pounds for a av reciver. Another thing to be careful with is the HDMI Pass thru technology, this just means that it will pass the HDMI content through without processing it, acting as a switcher. Hope this was heplful
